Greg Spero has invited a group of incredible musicians to his Tiny Room studio to record and capture “The Scorpion Project”, an instrumental re-imagining of the 25 songs featured on Drake’s latest album “Scorpion.”
The performances feature Spero and guest musicians keyboardist Ruslan Sirota, bassist MonoNeon, and drummers Sput Searight, Ronald Bruner Jr, and Chesley Allen. Spero and Sirota use a Yamaha MONTAGE 8, all four reface mobile mini keyboards, and a DC7X ENSPIRE PRO grand piano to create their own versions of the popular Drake songs. The songs from “Scorpion” have broken industry records by accumulating nearly 2 billion streams since its release in June. Spero is releasing one song each day over the next 25 days.
Greg has most recently served as pop superstar Halsey’s music director, launched the eclectic jazz project Spirit Fingers, and continues to expand his Tiny Room Live project.
