Hello All,

I have owned my CP88 for a little over 2 years now, using it several times a week for rehearsals or gigs. I first noticed this issue 2-3 months ago. When I play the D3 note (D below middle C) using any of the organ or EP sounds like Rhodes or Wurlitzer, the note sounds at full volume and is not responsive to touch like the other keys are.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? If so how did you fix it? Do you think this is a bug within the software or a hardware problem? Where would be the best place to take it for repair if necessary?

Thanks in advance for any help

D3 is the note just above middle C.

This is usually an indication that the mechanism under the key is broken. This will need to be serviced by an authorized service center.

You can visit your regional Yamaha website: www.yamaha.com and search for the nearest authorized service center for your location. Or you can refer to the back of the Owner's Manual for the contact information for your regional Yamaha Distributor.
