Does anyone know, if and when there will be a new OS version again for the CP88?

If you take a look at Ideascale - you can get a glimpse of what is being shuffled around and being "promoted" to different status levels. Although not conclusive, it gives some indication of continued development for the CP88. Interviews and posts by Yamaha suggest there's more to come.
When? I don't know. You can take a look at the past releases and see the "seasons" that are hot spots for activity. Again - not conclusive - but somewhat predictive.
Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R
