Hello,

I have recently purchased a new CP4 and would like to ask if there are any counter indication if I change the original rubber feet to something shorter.

I am asking this because at present I find the original rubber feet too high when the CP4 is on my studio desk.

I have found some smaller and shorter in hight rubber feet that will do the job nicely and will still allow some air ventilation to circulate underneath.

Thanks a lot in advance for any feedback.

Best regards,

Max

I don't foresee any issues but you should take standard precautions when doing any modification. Power down and disconnect the instrument completely from any power source. Do not use screws that would protrude into the instrument and short out anything. You can check with Yamaha Service for details.
