I'm a new and very happy owner of a CP4. Is there a way to play performances directly from a flash drive or do they have to be loaded into one or more of the 128 onboard performance slots?
Thanks
Performances can be contained in the 128 on-board user locations. You can store additional sets of 128 Performances to a USB drive, but if you are thinking being able to access them in real time, no. You can load either a Bank of 128 or any individual Performance from a file. But in order to play that Performance it must occupy one of the 128 internal Performance locations.
Hope that helps, thanks for the question. Enjoy your CP4 Stage!
That answers my question. Thank you.
So hypothetically, if I want to audition all 128 performances that a friend gave me I could:
1. Back up my own custom performances and settings to the flash drive.
2. Load all 128 of my friend's performances from the flash drive into the 128 internal Performance locations to audition them.
3. Check 'em out, note which ones I would like to use.
4. Load the back up of my own custom performances and settings.
5. Add the performances I like that my friend gave me to locations I think I'll never use.
Am I getting the work flow kind of right?
Thanks
Spot on....
Thanks
If I have no personal performances to backup so can I just use "restore original settings" Will this bring back all the original performances without having to create a backup?
Thanks
