Saving custom sounds and recalling on Yamaha CP4 stage piano

As there's seems to be a lack of good tutorials on this amazing keyboard, I've ventured into customizing sounds, including splits and layers but don't know how to store them, where they're stored and how to easily recall them on a gig, especially for a specific song. Also, how or can you raise the lower split voice to a higher register as in if you want piano from middle C up with organ from middle C down but move the organ A1 (lowest) to say A5.

Reference Manual p. 29 (STORE > [select destination Performance #] > ENTER > YES)

Reference Manual p. 16-17 (general instructions for EDIT > PART > PLAY MODE), and p.18 (specifically, Note Shift)
