I'm having an issue importing a wav file into my Yamaha Motif 6. I save my wav file to the flash card, import the wav into my keyboard without issue to a user voice. But upon playback, I hear electrical background noise. Wondering if anyone has run across this issue. The wav file was created using Audacity. Data started as an mp3 file converted to wav then edited, saved to flash card - then imported into Motif. I don't hear the noise when I listen to the wav on my computer (Toshiba windows 10 laptop). Any thoughts anyone may have I would truly appreciate. Thanks.
Try a different .wav (preferably one that you did not convert yourself) if it plays without issue, then you will know it something you did. If it has the same issue then it’s probably an issue with your SIMMs.
Thank you Bad Mister. I was thinking about trying a different mp3 converter and wav editor to start my troubleshooting. Any recommendations ?
No. Just make sure it is in a .wav format that your instrument can load... 16-bit/44.1kHz
