Recently I got a Motif ES rack where I installed 2 PLG150-AN (coming from a S90ES I sold).

I'm wondering if Studio Manager can let me program those PLG cards. Is there AN Expert Editor avaliable for OSX?

Thanks

Download page link: AN1X Editor for Mac

If you have AN1X EDITOR and you go to the SETUP pulldown, you will notice that you can select β€œPLG150AN Mode”.

Whether or not the Studio Manager will work properly under Mac 10.6, is unknown. You will shortly be one of only a few who will test and find out. I can tell you no one is testing this this currently, so post your results. You stepping back into 2003...!

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately AN1x Edit is just for MacOS. I have an old Macintosh running MacOS9 and OMS. I'll give it a try. By the way, I remember that AN Expert Editor was more indicated to edit PLG-150AN, because it can generate .ANS files that can be directly loaded by the board installed on Motif ES Rack.

Now, what if I wanted to edit PLG150-AN under Windows 10? I installed both Multi Editor and Voice Editor. When I attempted to install also Motif ES rack USB/MIDI drivers, a dialog box alerted me that no device was connected and the installation was aborted.

Is there a way to show AN Expert Editor window inside Motif ES Rack Voice Editor or the in advance driver installation is compulsory?
Thanks

p.s. There's no PLG150-AN mode in AN1x Edit. This command is avaliable in AN Expert Editor... that's the one I would like to use.

Here is the download for PLG150-AN Expert Editor for Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP:

https://usa.yamaha.com/support/updates/52079_en.html

It apparently runs fine on Windows 7, at least.

In the meantime I succeeded finding AN Expert Editor 1.2.2 through Motifator Forum.

Now, the hard part... I must recollect all the rememberings because in the past I used it with S90ES and 2 PLG150-AN that now are inside a Motif ES Rack.
Apparently the mechanism is the same, but I suspect that there's something different in how the software manages sys-ex data transmission and in how the instrument manages the received data.
