Edit: I solved this problem by doing a Factory Reset. Perhaps something got messed up in the shipping, but all is well.
Hello,
I bought a Yamaha s90 ES off of eBay and it arrived today. When I tried the piano sounds there was terrible distortion. Here is what it sound like at Soundcloud
I am using balanced TRS outs from the synth to my API 3124 preamp into Cubase. My Aurora 16 was not clipping. So, I know it's not converter distortion. The distortion is heard in the headphone connection on the synth as well. So, I believe it is internal to the piano.
Could anybody inform me if it's possible that there is a setting inside the piano that is causing this distortion. I am hoping that there is some setting doing this, instead of getting sold a defective piano.
Here are screen shots of the setting:
Thank you.

Just FYI: The S90 ES output is UNbalanced.
