sarebbe molto utile (e penso facile) modificare il registratore audio in modo che ripeta in loop le frasi registrate, in modo da poter cambiare performance e suonarci sopra in live, senza ricorrere ad un pc esterno. O è già possibile?

Google Translate:

it would be very useful (and I think easy) to modify the audio recorder so that it repeats the recorded phrases in a loop, so as to be able to change performances and play on them in live, without resorting to an external PC. Or is it already possible?

Useful? Si
Easily? No. Not so much.
A USB stick, on its own, has no intelligent musical functions.

The built-in Audio to USB stick Record feature simply allows the MODX to Output a 24-bit/44.1kHz .wav file from the USB “To Device” port.
The USB stick is not a smart device, it just writes the file in real-time. It is not really doing anything other than writing a file when it records, and reading the file when it plays back. What makes it “musical” is the MODX/MONTAGE’s ability to write a file at the Tempo you choose. If it were not for that, it’s the same as writing any file to the USB stick.

They are, in general, inexpensive and have no ability beyond passively receiving and retrieving files.

What you can do without resorting to an external PC
You can record a .wav file to the USB stick directly from MODX/MONTAGE.
Use the Trigger Mode = 1
This way when you arm the Audio Recorder, your wave file will be cued to start as soon as there is sound. This is important to use it musically — you need to be able to have it sound immediately upon NOTE ON. This is important because without a computer for editing the length, we’ll need the precise start point to be accurate… otherwise using it in a musical context become problematic.

You can take the recorded Wave and use it to create a MODX Waveform.
You can LOAD it to the synth engine as a “New Waveform”
Place this Waveform in a Drum Kit Part, and set it up to playback as you would any AWM2 ELEMENT
We recommend a Drum Kit because you will want the entire Waveform to sound without having to hold the key throughout… drum sounds, unlike “normal” sounds, do not require you hold down the key to play the entire waveform…
You can trigger it with an Arp Phrase or you can place it in a Pattern or Song Sequence or you can trigger it manually with a Note-on.

You can make it loop and you can play along with it.
