Can i split the keyboard, say piano on the bottom & vibes on top...& then lower the octave of the vibes because they sound too high pitched in the upper keyboard range?

Yes. Use the Note Shift function.

I don't want to lower the whole keyboard one octave, just the vibes

The Note Shift function is available for each part individually.

Call up your Performance. You want to edit the individual Part parameters (not the whole keyboard) so you must navigate to Part Edit parameters. Here’s how:
Press [EDIT]
Press [PART SELECT - MUTE/SOLO]
Select the Part you want to Edit first... Part 1
Touch “X” to clear the pop-in menu

In the lower left corner of the screen you should see “Part 1” and “Common” in blue
Touch “Part Settings” > “Pitch” > adjust the ”Note Shift” parameter... +/-12 semitones = 1 Octave
To switch to the next Part touch the “Part 1” in the lower left corner of the screen to view the pop-up options.

Note Shift the Parts as you require
Press [STORE]
