Is there a gain setting for MODX?
I have a LIVE SET of 15 of my best lead sounds, all of them have been altered and saved from the original preset, but some of them just need more gain.
Playing solos, I switch sounds from guitar to synth etc. Some of the sounds are just flat and need more gain boost, others could use less gain.
I have adjusted the volume all that I can. I have tried to boost Low Mid and High EQ to help, but this is not the best work around.

Is there a GAIN setting that could be applied to a saved preset. ?? All I find is volume, and 2 effects for each voice. How can I add gain.???

GAIN is Perfomance > Edit > General this volume there is the Gain level for the hole performance

Correct. You can adjust this overall Performance Volume directly from the “Live Set”.
Each Live Set slot can store a Performance Volume (Offset).
Recall your User Live Set
Select an entry
Press [EDIT]
Along the bottom you can set a Color and store a Volume setting...
This is provided so you can match the perceived output when moving from Live Set slot to Live Set slot. And you can do it non-destructively to the original “stored” setting. This offsets the Performance Volume.
Once you have smoothed the relative level ..in the upper right corner touch “Done”

Thanks Thomas. Excellent... Edit, General tab of Common Audio. That Volume seems to work. Also Edit, Audio In tab, there are two volumes.

I can change these volumes, and that helps to balance the volume-gain. After making adjustments, I store the Performance, Overwrite Current Performance.
Then when I switch to another performance, and back, my volume change is not saved.

How do I save the changes. ???

Thanks Bad Mister, Now I understand. That method makes it so easy to balance sounds. That is a great feature on this synth.

I have owned 6 different synths in the last 5 years, the MODX is by far the best.
