I have set up the marimba in a scene. But when I activate the scene I have to manually press the ARP key on the synth before it will play. This makes it a 2-stroke process rather than just pressing scene. Is there a way to make that ARP turn on automatically?

What do you mean by the “ARP key”?

Arpeggios are always started by press notes on the keyboard.

You want to reprogram your Performance to, by default, turn ON both ARP Master and the PART's ARP switch where your marimba is located. If you initially do not want the ARP to sound (after triggered by piano key presses) - then pick Mute 4/4 as the ARP pattern for one of your ARP numbers. And use the scene to change between the Mute 4/4 ARP pattern and the Marimba's ARP pattern for other scenes. This way you do not need to use the ARP Master switch (or PART level ARP switches on the touch screen) to accomplish turning on/off the ARP. Mute 4/4 can handle this for you.

Note: if your time signature is different than 4/4 - then you can pick the right time signature for your Mute (Mute 3/4, Mute 12/8, etc).
