Does MODX know any of the menus? What was the MOTIF JOB menu? SONG JOB, PATTERN JOB, PERFORMANCE JOB, OTHER JOB, VOICE JOB, etc.? Are these submenus, edits? Where, which menu? Thanks! (googletrans)

First, although the parameters and core of MODX is very related to Motif/MO - the menu system and interface's architecture is a slight departure due to a "flattening" of the interface. No longer having Voices - but instead having everything contained in a Performance. No song/pattern/master mode - although recent changes to the pattern sequencer have added some functionality relative to launch.

I'm going to give references to the english Reference Manual: https://usa.yamaha.com/files/download/other_assets/2/1192582/modx_en_rm_a0.pdf

You may want to take a look at the Reference Manual in your language of choice.

Reference Manual Page 200:

Under [UTILITY] Contents->Load, there's a "Job" button.

Job (Job Switch)
Determines whether the Job function is active (On) or not (Off.) When this parameter is turned on, touching
the File/Folder/Content in “File Select” calls up the menu to select “Rename” or “Delete.”
Touching the currently connected USB device calls up the menu to select “Format.”
Settings: Off, On

Reference Manual Page 202:

Under [UTILITY] Contents->Store/Save, there's a "Job" button

the File/Folder/Content in “File Select” calls up the menu to select “Rename” or “Delete.”

Also you can create a new folder when storing a file.
Settings: Off, On

Reference Manual Page 203:

Under [UTILITY] Contents->Data Utility, there's a "Job" button

Job (Job Switch)
Determines whether the Job function is active (On) or not (Off). This parameter is available only for the
“Waveform” folder on this display. When the parameter is turned on, touching “Waveform” folder calls
up the menu to select “Optimize.” When this function is active, you can select multiple contents
collectively from this display.
Settings: Off, On

Primarily, this is where "Job" is mentioned BEFORE the new enhanced pattern sequencing was added.

Since firmware additions can add new functions (and significant features were added) - we can also look at the supplemental manual: https://usa.yamaha.com/files/download/other_assets/8/1219148/modx_en_sm_b0.pdf

Supplemental Manual Page 6:

Under [PERFORMANCE] (HOME) - the home screen - there's a button "Edit/Job" button:

Opens the display for editing the pattern and related jobs.

Throughout both reference and supplemental manuals, Yamaha calls "Undo" a job - and undo shows up in the Performance recorder and Patter Edit/Job screen.

Most items associated with patterns are considered "jobs" - according to the pattern documentation in the supplemental manual (page 9, etc).

... the supplemental manual has 72 references to "Job" - which are all related to the new pattern feature. I won't document all of those here. This is "the bulk" of job functions in MODX.
