I recently bought a modx, and I also have a motif rack xs . i use midi player or daw with proper midi out on this two devices ( the midi file as in zip file) to play the midi file,but , the many patch in midi file missing in modx , it is normal in motif rack xs ,even sound module in pc , does anyone know this issue?

The MIDI file starts with Sysex followed by MSB/LSB/PC settings for each MIDI channel. The MIDI file would play better if you first recall the Init category preset Performance "Multi/GM"
I didn't map out the Sysex and how it applies to the XS or Montage. If at all.
