Hello Yamaha Synthesizer Support Staff,

Do you think that there will ever be MODX software for the Hawaiian guitar (like in Bing Crosby's rendition of "Sweet Leilani"), banjo and mandolin? I don't see any of these listed as such on the MODX Performance Category List.

Thank you in advance for your consideration of my inquiry.

Best regards,

Steve

Performance 1920 = Banjo 1
Performance 2061 = Banjo 2
There are 7 banjo-specific Waveforms inside MODX

Performance 1053 = Pedal Steel
I personally haven't loved this - you may be able to find another guitar and crank up the reverb to get closer to what you're aiming for

Inspiration In A Flash (for Motif XF and earlier keyboards - not compatible with MODX) has a Mandolin Performance. Although the full set is not compatible, mandolin is one of the sounds that Easysounds has re-vamped and made available for Montage (and by extension, MODX). Details on obtaining:

I haven't listened to the tune - but it seems Ukulele would be more fitting for the Hawaiian theme for small string instrument. There's not one of those as a factory preset. Nylon string guitar may work OK.

Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R
