Hi,

does anybody use the MODX as MIDI Keys? I've tried to play on MODX, record to cubase with Halion VST and it is not good to play (latency, sounds not bright),
when i connect my Arturia Keystep keys it works without Problems, sounds gut and bright. Tried to play with the velocity an modx but it was not satisfying..

First tried with USB cable, now testing with MIDI cable into UR44

Are there Settings on MDOX which i've to consider?

Yes, there most certainly are... you should ensure that you are transmitting on just a single channel. If you have to ask the question you are probably unwittingly transmitting on multiple MIDI Channels (this would definitely degrade the sound of any receiving device).

You don’t tell us anything about what your MODX Setup is ...but likely that’s your problem. Cubase will take all incoming channels and merge them to one ... if your Controller transmits on multiple MIDI Channels its YOUR responsibility to handle that ... the Zone Master function lets you determine what specifically is transmitted Out via MIDI from the MODX.

Are you using the Zone Master Function?
How many MIDI Channels are you transmitting on? (each KBD CTRL Part is On it’s own channel)
You must Control what you send from the MODX as your controller.
Let us know...
