After attempting to download the ES voice editor/Studio Manager 2 on my MacBook Pro unsuccessfully, I've come to the conclusion that it will not work with Mojave. VERY disappointing.

Unfortunately when the Motif ES Editor and Studio Manager were current 2003-2007 Apple Mojave was not around.

Apparently, in order to use this I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD CUBASE?!?!?!?!?!?!

Not true at all. Cubase is not necessary at all to load Motif ES Voices. In fact, if you already have the ES Editor Files you don’t even need the ES Editor or Studio Manager. Simply open them in the XS or XF Editor.

What if I don't want to buy Cubase?!?

don’t! You can use the free copy that comes with the purchase of a Yamaha Synth, or you can just not use it at all. Only purchase it if you want the Pro version. It has nothing to do with converting or loading Motif ES Voice Libraries to a MODX!

1 to 128 is the Preset1 bank from Motif ES
129 to 256 is the Preset2 bank from Motif ES
257–384 is the Preset3 bank from Motif ES
385 to 512 is the Preset4 bank from Motif ES
513 to 640 is the Preset5 bank from Motif ES

ESpre6 + MOpre4 + ESu123.X8L - 640 voices:
1 to 128 is the Preset6 bank from Motif ES
129 to 256 is the Preset4 bank from Yamaha MO, that is bank which is not in Motif ES
