What are the capabilities of the vocoder ? Is it a full working vocoder like the one in Roland vsynth gt ? The only words on the manual are ". Robot voice like ". Can we make singing a choir with our voice ? Somebody try it ?

This is a traditional vocoder _ encodes your input onto the synth sound. It can do a singing choir of robot voices. 🙂

I tried the vocoder out on the basic perfomances available last night and I noticed my natural voice coming through as well. Is there a way to turn that off?

Yes there is... You can turn the A/D Input DRY LEVEL to zero. This can be done in one of two locations.
Press [EDIT]
Press [COMMON]
Select "Audio In" > "Mixing" > set DRY LEVEL = 0
Alternately, from the main Performance screen:
Touch "Mixing"
On the AD channel set the DRY LEVEL = 0
