Everything working well in Logic except for recording Motion Control to a midi track.
I have been kindly directed to work with Logic's system exclusive controls by one of the site moderators.
Here is what I found and have been trying in the last few hours.

Still not working for some probably (one button) reason as is usually the case.
Help in this area most appreciated!
Wondering if it's possible to record a midi track and capture the motion control at the same time. Running Logic Pro and Ive tried all the "quick Setup" templates to no avail.
One workaround that has worked is to record the midi file. Then after editing, record the miid file to an audio track while using the motion control.
Help appreciated.
In order to record all the data that the Montage puts out check to make sure you are not FILTERING any data - many DAWs default to removing things like Aftertouch and System Exclusive. While quite a few Montage Performances use Aftertouch, most all use System Exclusive data to affect Motion Control (where you are addressing multiple parameters across multiple Parts).
I am not a Logic Pro user - we have several experts around - you probably just need to find out how to stop filtering SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE data... that will allow you to record all the Motion Control information to your DAW
Spent some more time adjusting System Ex parameters, but with no luck. Would love to hear from a Logic Pro guy who is working with super knob midi recording. Thanks
PROJECT SETTINGS > MIDI > INPUT FILTER
This is where you can opt in or out for System Exclusive... You want to NOT FILTER System Exclusive.
