In some of my older Yamaha keyboards this was fairly straight forward. Simply assign automation to the mod-wheel in Logic's automation preferences. That is not working with my Montage. Wondering if I also need to change some setting in the "Monty" to get the mod wheel to respond to volume. Feeling frustrated and a bit "stupid as it's probably quite simple. Help appreciated.

First you need to check your control settings to see if the PART has "Mod Wheel" maybe "MW" greyed out (ignored) or green (active). There's a slightly longer checklist - but this would be something I would check on the "Monty" side.

From part edit:
Touchscreen menu "Mod / Control" -> "Receive SW"

Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R
