Change Pitch, not Speed

I’ve imported a custom sound file for a single element to cover the range of the keyboard.
By default it changes pitch by playing it slower or faster. Can it be set to change the pitch without changing the playback speed of the sample?

Thank you,
L. Spiro

The solution is either use loop points to repeat a section of the sample or use multiple samples - each to cover a portion (not full range) of the keyboard.

If there is a fancy transformation function available, it is not documented.

It turns out the thing I am trying to emulate uses loop points to stretch out the sound when it raises and lowers the pitch of these same samples. I wouldn’t have noticed without your suggestion. Thank you.
