Comp Distortion Delay, Feedback Parameter?

In the Comp Distortion Delay effect, what does the sign of the Feedback Parameter mean? +34 and -34 sound the same to me.

Actually, they should sound very similar, indeed... the difference is in the phase of the feedback... so it is something you could measure or see on an oscilloscope. Feedback will be influencing, in this case, the number of repeats... the acoustic “phase” of repeated signal is the only difference.

Feedback Level controls the decay in the repeats, for example, a setting of +50 would decrease to +25 then to +12.5 as they repeat... a Negative value simply inverts the phase of the feedback.
