Hello - I have re-installed 'Connect' from scratch, and it refuses to go 'online'. Totally. So I want to check the firmware version of my Montage - i remember once before it appeared to have reverted to v1.11 but I decided it couldn't have. Well, it may have happened again. But I cannot remember HOW to check the firmware version! I know it's easy - but OK, which buttons need pressing to find out, please? This time I'll write it down ... thanks!

How could the Montage alter its firmware though unless it's user installed?

Touch "Settings"
Touch "System"
The version reads along the bottom. Impossible for it "revert". Impossible.

Thanks to Phil and BM. Checked the firmware version, and you'll be pleased to know that it had not reverted! Still v1.20.4 - so why wouldn't 'Connect' go online? Because Idiot here hadn't assigned it - amazing how things can stare you in the face and you don't see them ... anyway the 'back to basics' approach worked! 'Connect' now functions entirely as it's supposed to, without any DAW, and I offer my thanks and apologies to those kindly souls who didn't give up! What happened the first time around I have absolutely no idea, but am happy that it has faded away ...
