Probably a silly question but ... Can the Montage be setup as a split keyboard so that you can play fingered chords on the left split as you can with a Tyros.

Yes you can split the Montage keyboard and yes you can use your fingers to play chords. 😉

Tyros has lots of modes for the fingering (single finger, fingered, finger on bass, mutli fingered, A.I. fingered). Some of those can be accomplished with arpeggios - and certainly you can split the keyboard into 2 through 8 regions such that an arpeggio is played (triggered) within one or more of those regions.
Some things, due to the design goals of each keyboard, cannot be duplicated.
