Hi, I'm trying the drum programming lesson in the music production guide from april 2018. it's about adding a motion sequence to a drum part. and then copying the bass drum as a second part without the motion sequence because we want a bass drum that is unaffected. now, what I don't know is how do I mute everything in that second part except the bass drum? I don't think I am expected to mute all the keys manually one by one, so what's the trick?

One quick way is to set Note Range parameter on the HOME screen.
Say the bass drum is on C1, Set the Note Range = C1~C1
This will be the only Note that sounds from this Part.
