I will be doing about 75% Montage/Logic sounds recording music and 15% singing maybe 10% guitar If not what would be a good microphone? Do I need a small mixer? I have a Mac book Air + Logic Pro X and a Montage 7 (coming soon)

You'll need a USB cable. The Montage has 32 digital audio outputs via USB - it's built-in.
Choose your mic based on what you are going to record. Dynamic microphones can be plugged in and routed to your DAW via Montage. The A/D Input can be routed through its own dedicated dual Insertion Effects and to its own discreet USB audio output with those effect in tact.

If you choose a condenser mic that requires phantom power, then you will need a mixer. The Montage does not supply the +48V required by some condensers.
