John Melas Motif Waveform Editor not working

Dear forum,

Since updating to Montage 1.5 (haven't updated to 1.51 yet), John Melas' Motif Waveform Editor has stopped working as it should. Specifically I cannot get any audio from the application and within the application's sound card selection options, none of them work and the test button on all options results in pop up window error "Error opening device".

I informed John Melas about this two or three weeks ago and I haven't had any advice from him on what might be going wrong or what to do to fix the issue. Which is very disappointing!

I've tried re-installing the Melas software. I've tried different sound card selections and sampling rate settings. Nothing works to give me audio.

It used to work. And now it doesn't. All other software on my computer works and produces audio without any problem. My issue is specifically related to Motif Waveform Editor.

I'm wondering if anybody else is successfully using Motif Waveform Editor with Montage 1.5? I don't know how this should effect the software at all... it probably hasn't and is a problem elsewhere but I haven't received any help or advice from Melas unfortunately.

No JM tools here except demo version to test.

Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R

Hi work fine for me with OS 1.51.
I have lselect a waveform with all keys in Waveform Editor, i can play it from the montage and play it from the Waveform editor virtual keyboard.
Hear it without problem on Montage.
Using MW, cutoff, resonance, release ... work too.

I test Asio, WASAPI & WDM/KS settings, all works.

I wish John Melas would respond and help me resolve my issue.
