Nice idea to show and share pictures of the Gear & Equipment. to see other synths and music makers home studio set ups. !!
But It would be interesting to know and hear what others all may do with all the [Professional ] synths - gear and music production equipment.. ??
After all. we all did spend lots of money for all these Pro synths and other gear, with only one goal / reason making [ MUSIC ] .. !!
Because it is Quite remarkable noticeable as we can see on the many synths forums and on the specially social media platforms and groups that people proudly present there self with profiles as pro synths players / sound designers / music producers / and profile pictures with lots of pro synths music production workstations / computer related daw music production software and more other gear and equipment, But when scroll and look around on these same impressive / overwhelming
profiles. mostly there is not a single create sound or music activity to could hear for wat all the equipment is use for ?? I mean don.t we all also not curious on wat other synths owners & players would be doing with the same synths or and other music production gear. ??. I do understand most people do not like to publish any self made sounds or and self made full music productions songs recording projects on youtube - facebook etc etc media but mostly not a single sound demo is to find on the profiles so lets not just only show pictures of set ups but also up load a demo sounds or music project so we can also learn / discuss 'and share the knowledge on why we have all these multi [$$$] music productions set ups . !! here 2 full home recording songwriting with vocals music projects made in the home recording studio set up on my profile;

For some unknown reason my contribution was deleted, so here it is again.
I am mainly a live-player in several bands. That's why my setup is arranged for easy transport/fast-building-at-stage, maximum play ability and optimum ergonomics. Most cables are labeled and fixed positioned in place, just requiring plugging in. The complete setup is ready and tested within 10 minutes.
The Yamaha Montage 8 is my center piece. My set-lists are organized and the performances address the other two midi-keyboards. It is actually a huge keyboard splitter. All main parts and complex sounds are done on the Montage. The other two midi-keyboards I use for backing/filling and accents/solo. They are using the 9-16 parts of the Montage. So all my sounds are generated by Montage.
The big advantage of this setup is that the set-list on the Montage is the only thing that needs programming. With a one-single touch I can switch from song to song and everything is ready. No parameter adjustments required. The only thing to check in between songs are the status of the transpose button and the position of the modulation wheel and superknob foot pedal.

The music I prefer to play is Soul, Funk, Fusion, etc. So regarding the songs I play, I am using the Montage quite traditionally. I create my own sounds by layering and modifying presets from the Montage. In this way I also manage to create sound-alikes from other artists. I use multiple scenes for fast-switching (hence the FCB1010) within songs, as it all has to be done in real-time without dubbing opportunities. At this moment I can not give you any representative production sound examples of my Montage in action.
With one band we are doing twisted covers like Happy, Superstition, etc. With another band I am participating at The Clash.
The most important part: it keeps me of the streets and provides me a lot of joy. 🙂
