Missing rubber foot, causes touchscreen problems?

I've got a new Montage 8 (Purchase Date: 12/28/2019) with a weird touchscreen issue. Sometimes the touchscreen registers presses extremely bottom-left. When this occurs, touchscreen calibration does not work (never registers a click on the first white square). Some days I'll turn the Montage on and the touchscreen seems to work fine except for occasional bottom-left errant presses. However, pressing the chassis very gently next to the touchscreen sometimes causes errant presses. I've got videos of this below. They keyboard is in perfect condition, the protective film on the touchscreen from shipping has been removed since I received it. I looked under my Montage and see only 5 rubber feet, with no rubber foot in the middle-rear underneath the touchscreen. Is there suppose to be a rubber foot there and maybe my chassis is flexing causing the touchscreen to fail?

Here is a video of me initializing all settings, I then click around and demonstrate how the touchscreen registers my press extremely left-bottom, I then attempt to calibrate the screen but none of my presses register, I then power-cycle and the issue persists.

Here is a video showing how a light-touch on the chassis of the Montage causes the touchscreen to register errant clicks.

Attached is a picture underneath the middle of the Montage, showing the middle-front rubber foot and no middle-rear rubber foot.

Thanks for your time everyone, I really appreciate it.

Hi Hil,

That is very weird behavior and not normal. I don't think you are missing a rubber foot..I have a MONTAGE7 and it only has 5 and I think the 8 is the same. This looks like a bad touch screen or one of the parts of the cable that connects the touch screen to the main board has disconnected. It's rare, but I've seen this happen before. It might need to be serviced.

Here is some information:

Check the website first. I'm not sure how calls are being handled at the moment due to the current situation. You might know of a service location around your area that you could check with and see if they are open and doing repairs. In the meantime you can move around in the screen with the up/down/left right arrows and maybe a combination of the screen. I totally see what it is doing though. Apologies, but rest assured It's not a common thing and it is fixable.

Also, I noticed in your video that you updated to OS v3.0. You might want to try that just to see if it helps...I don't think it will as this is probably a hardware issue but either way you should update:
