Obviously a new firmware has just been released (see download.yamaha.com)
Fixes and Enhancements
Fixed problems;
- Improved the sensitivity of performance response.
- Fixed a problem in which this instrument would freeze if you set Lane of the Motion Sequencer to "Arp" before starting MIDI recording.
- Fixed a problem in which this instrument would freeze when reading certain Standard MIDI File data.

It doesn't mention a fix for the boot-up freeze. Might still be working on that one.

Hi all
I have just updated to V1.11 and all seems to have gone OK, but surprised that it did not initialize my 'user memory'
UTILITY - SYSTEM is showing Firmware Version 1.11
I didn't format the flash drive , having previously done that for V1.10. I just deleted 1.10 before copying the new file to it.
Just wondered if this is a new feature or I have done something wrong.

I had the same situation - I'd backed up User and Library files - but everything was still there after the update so that saved a bit of time.

Mine worked. I can't tell any difference in the latency but then again I never noticed the issue before. None of my custom performances were disturbed either.
