I just wanted to ask if the Montage can work with the Hanns-G 23" / 27" Touchscreen?

No, the touch screen on the Montage should be touched directly. That's what it's for, and it's conveniently located right in front of you! 🙂
One day, like with the TF series, you'll be able to walk out into the audience area during sound check and remotely play you performance from your Montage while it's still on stage. You'll be able to operate the Montage touch screen and play the keyboard from your apple device. We can dream.

The use case mentioned has been echoed by previous users - so there is a pool of users who would find it very useful to be able to "move" the touchscreen to a different location or add a 2nd touchscreen. When keyboards are stacked on top of Montage, the angle/position of the touchscreen is not optimized to both see and touch the screen (because it's covered by other devices). When Montage is stacked on top of other keyboards, the angle/position of the touchscreen again is not optimized for use because the keyboard is too high and angle of the screen is not sufficient for use. In addition, there are users who will - at any angle or position - find the touchscreen is too small for using say the liveset feature because of eyesight - or would simply prefer a larger screen which is at an angle of their choosing.
As technology progresses, it gets easier and easier to interface with external devices. The platform Montage is based on doubly makes this easier as the work to interface with external devices has already been done and is freely available for use. In other words, little R&D is expended in order to support these devices. "These devices" would be, in my opinion, best suited as tablets (iOS/Android) and connectivity best suited as Wifi. USB as a connection option would be OK although Android could not, for every device, support this. Eventually, since the market shows signs of adopting built-in Wifi, I see all keyboards using this as a standard. Even Montage "could" (although likely won't) add Wifi support through a USB dongle. Internally, there is already limited network support.
However Yamaha could, in the future (I suspect with a new generation of keyboard, although Montage still has potential) support moving or adding an external touchscreen would solve a real demand for users. Unless some other keyboard manufacturer beats Yamaha to the punch, it would also be a differentiating feature.
For the "move" the touchscreen - I would think the touchscreen could "click" into position, have a cable with a reasonable amount of length, and then user could "pop out" the touchscreen and place it at a more useful position above other keyboards at some angle of their choosing. Presumably using a stand which works for tablets to hold/position the touchscreen as building mechanicals into the touchscreen to allow it to mount onto other places ("feet"/suction cups?/etc) would be a challenge to design effectively. There's already an existing ecosystem of inexpensive tablet holders that would work and are designed for small tablets/phones all the way up to larger tablets - so no need to reinvent the wheel or make design more difficult.
I personally don't prefer the "move" option - although it would keep the general design architecture the same with a "minor" mechanical tweak for the existing touchscreen while solving the customer demand assuming the cable is long enough to position the screen to this user pool's liking. The frequency of touchscren signals at around 10MHz (note: assumed according to existing standards, do not have the service manual to confirm) is not fast when you compare USB 2.0 at 480MHz. 10MHz would allow for a very long max cable even if differential signaling was not used over the cable segment.
