Minor point, perhaps, but the new feature is for 'Note Shift' rather than 'Transpose'. The new screens in the M are correctly labeled 'Note Shift'.
Not trying to be pedantic but, as Bad Mister explains, the distinction is important when it comes to defining split points for note ranges. A 'note shift' respects the split point you set but a 'transpose' does not.
