when plug my mpe midi controller onto the midi din of montage, all works as expect ( except for the limited low resolution pitch bend of montage) but when i plug the controller onto the usb to device of montage( 3.01), the one note per channel does not work at all. all layer play at the unison. is that should be like this, montage usb midi device does not handle one note per channel? the one note per channel does not work also when the mpe controller( linnstrument) is plugged thru the sound card midi din port or usb computer port. it is like the usb to device and the usb to host of montage does not handle one note per channel for mpe controller. 😮

The description seems to indicate that channelization from the device is not respected and instead all keyboard control=ON PARTs will receive the same MIDI stream.
That said - there are other threads where users have connected Roli and have not circled back to complain about any limitations. So perhaps there may still be ways to get Roli to work for you. One specific use case (mentioned by Yamaha support) for the USB TO DEVICE port was to connect a Roli controller.
