Hi!
I need my Montage 8 to send a program change to my Montage 6.
The only midi activity between the keyboards should be the programe change. I want to be able to go to next in a live set on both keyboards by just changing on the Montage 8. I want to be shure that nothing else is sent or recieved between the keyboards.
Can someone just give me the easiest way to do this step by step?

To send Program Change from a MONTAGE to any external device you need to connect the 5-pin MIDI OUT to the MIDI IN of the device to be controlled.
You will want to go to [UTILITY] > “Settings” > “Advanced” > Set the ZONE MASTER to ON
This will turn this MONTAGE into your Master Keyboard Controller... and you can customize *each* Performance that you are going to use on the master MONTAGE to send the appropriate Bank Select and Program Change to the external device.
If you do not want the slave MONTAGE to respond to anything else, you can set that up within the master MONTAGE Performance.
