Ok in scene we can memorize the volume and the mute state of the 1-8 Montage channel, so if I change scene the sound maybe truncated (as many user complain) so why not give the possibility to memorize also the state of Kbd Ctrl ? it's possible to change the state while I play with one hand so I think it's possible to implement the store -in scene memory -the state of Kbd Ctrl.
Without facility to store A.SW1/A.SW2 settings in a scene, or employ some other possible methods leveraging scenes to do an "SSS lite" switching within a performance, the current suggestion is not use scenes for "seamless" switching within a single performance. Instead, the suggestion is to use the Motif-era form of seamless switching: Xpanded Articulation (XA). ... and also applies only to AWM2 (not FM-X).

You would therefore setup a limited amount of PARTs to participate (up to 3 unique states).
The A.SW1+A.SW2 (both on) case is not unique since there is no "Only A.SW1 and not A.SW2" case. There is an "A.SW1 ON with A.SW2 as on or off" case, an "A.SW2 ON with A.SW1 on or off" case, and "both A.SW1 and A.SW2 OFF" case.
... so if you had 3 parts, you could isolate them:
PART1 = A.SW1 and A.SW2 both OFF
PART2 = A.SW1 ON and A.SW2 OFF
PART3 = A.SW1 OFF and A.SW2 ON
... and the following would combine two parts (not isolated) - which is why you cannot use this state for a 4th isolated part:
PART2+PART3 = A.SW1 ON and A.SW2 ON
When you change the A.SW button state (assignable switch aka assignable function in previous Motif XF) - this does not "cut out" anything because XA control is about the note starting (except for "key off" - but not utilizing this XA control here). If you start/trigger a note and the element is not participating due to the A.SW filter not matching, then it will not sound. However, once the note is sounding (and held by a key) switching the A.SW will not cut off the note since XA is all about the trigger/start/attack and nothing about the release.
XA participation is done at the AWM2 Element level - so when I say "PART" above - I mean all AWM2 elements within the PART stated.

I know all this, mine is only a suggestion to do a little and easy improvemento to the firmware but wit a very big result !
Yes, it would be nice to add more flexibility to scenes either directly or through proxy (superknob -> assignable knobs, etc).
