Ok - I didn't click on the link because, among other reasons, I don't have a Mac.

There's enough information there to get you on your way. I searched for "OSX Cherrypicker" and found these - which I'm also not clicking on to figure out if they work or not.

... this thread has a link "Cherrypicker3.zip": http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=56619

Assuming you have a Mac (because the previous link I posted shows this is a Mac utility) - you should know better than me where the major places are to download public domain content.

If you don't have a Mac - maybe look at this discussion which came up on the 1st page of "hits" from the "OSX Cherrypicker" search:

http://users.cognitone.com/topic/cherrypicker-midi-patchfile-editor-osxbut-not-windows-7

BTW: the reason the link went to an ad was because apparently the link was to the author's website which is no longer up. Which usually means you can use something like archive.org to get the old website back if you want to get the file more from the original sources.

From the original link - there's a reference to the author's website: http://www.alterspective.com/cherrypicker/ (which is down). But archive.org uncovers in 2015:

http://web.archive.org/web/20151124060137/http://www.alterspective.com:80/cherrypicker/

Sometime in 2016 the website went down and hasn't come back.
