Hi to all,
I want to setup Reaper newest version 6.05 to use my Montage 8.
I use Reaper for Windows.
All the Devices are set to Enable in Preferences (Audio/MIDI).
My Montage is set to Local Off in system settings. For this I used the JM-Tools.
I open up Reaper insert a new Track and set MIDI to Montage1 first Channel. I hear nothing. No Audio respnse.
What's going wrong here.
I want to Record MIDI first.

We cannot help you with Reaper but can offer you help with what you need to do to get your MONTAGE ready to communicate with your Windows computer.
Download and install the “Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver for Windows version 2.0.3”
MONTAGE Official Download page
This is a MIDI/Audio Driver that will setup your computer to communicate with the MONTAGE. The download includes instructions.

Hello Bad Mister,
thank You for Your answer. I solved my problem myself. I plugged one cable wrong in my mixer 🙂
The other things are installed correctly.
