I would be very interested too know how to create some shimmer effect with the montage, much like being done on a strymon effects pedal which a friend of mine has been showing me this afternoon........

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, I was doing a search to find the same thing (how to do a "shimmer" reverb effect) and found this thread. However, the link Jason posted above just returns a 404 now. Does this info exist anywhere?

Inside the PDF - I posted an audio link to my demo on "clyp.it". Which did stay around for several years - but at some point they changed their policy on lifetime of audio clips (i.e. they ran out of hard-drive space) and went through deleting older clips. If of interest I can either dig up the original demo and host it somewhere else - or recreate from scratch. There may even be more things we can do today using newer effects.

I never had much of a chance to try the Space Simulator effect, but listening to the shimmer in the videos, it sounds similar to how the Resonance effect for pianos...Maybe a Space Simulator/Resonance effect combo might provide an interesting/appealing sound..!?
