I can see how to save a song/performance together so they can be reloaded together using the Performance Play/Rec screen. But is it possible to recall both Performance and Song together from the Live Set, or some equivalent if I want to use midi files as backing tracks and pick my set list quickly.

I don't think so. There is only one SONG that can be loaded at a time for play - so you will be loading the Player each time.
You recall the PERFORMANCE, go to the PLAY/REC screen, and Load the SONG to the Performance Player - - or - - you go to the PLAY/REC screen, you Load the Song, it will automatically recall your Performance.

Only option that you can play your song on PC or other devices and you play along with it using your Montage sounds or Performance.

Thanks for the confirmation. I am using option 2 as you described, i.e. loading rhe song using Play/rec.
