Well, my english is not the best but I think you'll understand. 😉

Since many years Yamaha, Korg, Roland and Kurzweil have one similarity.

Even if you ask for more simple (!) features in the sequencer or sampling area in their workstations, they tell you to use your DAW. And of course it's not efficient to produce completely in a workstation but also it's not efficent to use a DAW for every simple editing, too! They show you videos and tout how fast you can record what you play but they don't show you how annoying it is to edit what you record. Even if you want to delete or add single notes in a "pattern sequencer" you have to send or export that "patterns" first in your DAW every time again and again. Well, Roland gives you a piano roll in their new Fantom and wow, there you can delete notes but you can't add them, ridiculous!

All right!

If you want to have endless synth syntheses, you can buy thousends of VST plugins and use them simultaneously without limitations in your DAW, too!

And if you want endless synth voices, you can also use VST plugins in your DAW!

And if you want "creative" factory presets, you can buy millions of loops, song stems and midifiles for every genre!

And of course, if you just need a midi controller, they're thousends available for less money with many flashing lights and knobs in every color, yeah!

And if you need a soundcard, you already can use the simple Realtek soundchip in your PC motherboard with free ASIO 4all driver and you'll get highend soundquality!

So finally, if you are not a "piano and organ minisamples collector" or cover musician or band keyboarder, you don't need a workstation, just use your DAW! And you don't have to work with Cubase or Logic, they're many very good alternatives available, so you also don't need a Yamaha or Roland product to produce music, too!

That's it! :p
