On the Yamahamusician forum, a post can reach hundreds of views in few days but not here, do you know why? Is it because now montage owners get sufficient knowledge of they machine that they don’t need help anymore ?

I heard that forum just went private and you have to be a member in order to even read replies.

LOL? That's the best one I've heard lately and it isn't even April 1. I know I'm always looking for more detailed info and, if I'm not mistaken so are you.

I've heard that this forum was down for several months just after the new Montage M came out and then went up and down a few times. So maybe people aren't aware it is back up and running.

On the plus side the trolls seem to have gone elsewhere also and that's a good thing.

Yes, the forum was basically down for months, that kind of thing does real damage. People who visited regularly may have gotten out of the habit of coming here, and some of them may never come back.

And fwiw, I'm not here as much, because even now that it's up and running, the way the new design appears on my screen is a bit of a turn-off... harder to read, and lots of scrolling. A lot of online development is done around the concept of things being "frictionless" -- it doesn't take much to lose eyeballs.
