Good morning. I would like to use my CVP 407's internal speakers for my Montage by connecting the Montage's balanced output [L/MONO], [R] to the CVP's AUX IN inputs. The CVP's AUX IN is as shown in the attached image extracted from the owner manual. Would like to seek your advice if I can simply connect using two TRS-TRS cables (without causing any harm to either equipment). Thank you.

You can just use standard 1/4" TS cables from the Main L&R outputs to the CVP. When going through Montage (for use as an audio interface) I make recommendations to try to keep the audio path as clean as possible. For this case, I'm not sure it matters just for speaker output.
