My Montage 7 currently running OS 1.11. Can I update directly to 1.5, or do I have to update to 1.2 then follow with update to 1.5? I am newbie to this stuff. Thank you all in advance for any answers. This is a great forum.

Hi, yes you can update directly to 1.5.
Save your user data on usb stick, be sure you have all your library on your computer or save them one by one as library file on your usb stick before to done the update.

Hello Mel - yes you can, as Joel has already said. BUT be sure to use a dedicated USB of 4Gb or LESS for the upgrade, and have ONLY the update file on it (8N700S_.PGM). NOTHING else! Keep your back-ups on a separate USB ... it is also safer to format the USB key on the Montage.
