Is there some performans for waltz style ?
Seems , that Montage do everything, but not waltz, country
There are some 6/8 styled drum arps/patterns, will they help as a base point?
There are lots of 3/4 arpeggios. It'd take some doing to find which Performances use these Arps. I could write a script to pull them out.
The data list shows some Arp compatibility with certain guitar/bass/etc. Performances - so you can start with some of those to see if the Performance actually utilizes a 3/4 time Arp.
Current Yamaha Synthesizers: Montage Classic 7, Motif XF6, S90XS, MO6, EX5R

Download the MONTAGE Data List Booklet (PDF) - it has all of the Arpeggio Phrases listed, and you can use your computer to search for key words "waltz" and/or "country".
The MONTAGE does not have Styles. That is a term that is used for an Arranger keyboard where the 8 auto accompaniment Parts form an 8-piece backing band that has musical and rhythmic phrases that recreate a particular genre or style of music. There is no such entity in the MONTAGE, or it is configured so differently as to require and use different terminology.
As you can see everyone immediately went to talking about the Arpeggiators. They are similar but NOT the same. There are 8 Arpeggiators in MONTAGE and they can be configured into a backing band doing a specific genre or style of music, but that is not how the ARP Phrases grouped for use. Instead of grouping the Country Percussion phrase, with the Country Drums phrase, with the Country Bass phrase, with the Country Guitar phrase, etc., etc., etc., into one 8-piece ensemble backup band, the Phrases are listed individually, inviting the user to make their own combinations (using all 8 Arpeggiators or fewer if that’s all you need). Mixing and matching Phrases from different types of music. You can use a Country Guitar lick in a Hip Hop context, or a Country Drum groove in a Rock context.
There are over 10,000 Arp phrases, in all. If you take similarly named Arpeggio Phrases from the various recommended instrument categories, and combine them, it is very likely they will make a very coherent grouping that might even sound like a familiar tune in a specific genre.
But the goal of the arpeggiators was to provide professionally executed music and rhythmic phrases for specific instruments - and are designed to be mixed and matched freely. Nothing prevents you from constructing a specific grouping - but you do so instrument-by-instrument, rather than like in the Arranger engines where the phrases are preselected in a GROUP by GENRE (Style). Certainly, Yamaha could have listed them like that - but the concept was specifically NOT to do that. How any Phrase is used is entirely up to you.
Extra Credit:
Some genres translate to Arpeggio Phrases better than others... a Waltz, for example, can be recognized by its 3/4 time signature. Commonly known as the dance rhythm from the 1600's Europe - (a very controversial dance in its day...) and predates the modern drum kits, electric basses, and electric guitars by several centuries... And while the instruments of the day could play in 3/4 time there is no set phrase that they must play to qualify as a waltz... it simply needs to be in 3/4 time.
We often get requests for Waltz Styles ... But in general, the synthesizer arpeggios can be made by the user - and made to fit whatever you consider a waltz. There's the Tennessee Waltz (an American 20th Century variation) which is completely different in how it moves and in instrumentation from the Vienna Waltz or the Blue Danube Waltz (both 17th Century creations).
You can create your own phrases by using the PATTERN SEQUENCER.
Press [RECORD] to enter Record Standby
Set the Time Signature to 3/4 before entering real time play...
If you have an idea of what you need in a waltz, try creating your own data.
Do the 'search' in the Data List Booklet for "Waltz", "Country" or any term that comes to mind and start with just a phrase that inspires you - then build the rest based on the instrumentation you desire. Looking for a Drum Kit groove for the Blue Danube is a "good luck" item... not much in the vaults of music
FYI: When you purchased the MONTAGE you were given access to the entry level version of Cubase AI, which includes a special edition of the “Groove Agent”... which is another resource for Drum grooves and drum groove creation.

Whatever you end up doing, and however it ends up going, could I trouble you to report on your endeavours when you get a chance?
Very keen to find out how you went, and how you went about it. This is something I've wondered about, but not had the courage to go much further than wondering.
