I remember back in January on a YouTube video, in an a official Yamaha demonstration, that it was possible to add text, say a chord progression or some sort of note against a particular performance etc.

I can't at present see this mentioned in any of the manuals.

Can anyone please shed some light on this?

Many thanks

I ran into that a few nights backs. In the performance, live set mode I believe, you can enter text into the performance block. There is an edit option in the upper right corner. If I was at home I could find it for you but I recall it was obvious and not obscure.

It's possible to name each slot in a live set with 20 characters so the slot will have the performance name and then other text underneath.

I was just thinking today actually, that this would be a good feature.

I haven't yet been able to figure out how to do it, though.

See here. Select [EDIT] on the top right and the bottom menu appears. Then select [Slot Name] and enter your text or description. See "test" under the Sky Keys performance. Press [DONE] when complete.

Next change the color if you wish (see below). If you want to change the performance name see below.

In performance select [EDIT] on the left. Touch the title [Sky Keys] at the top. Then the edit block appears.

Hi

I have worked out how to do what you have shown, so thanks for that.

The impression I got from the youtube video, was that you could write far more than 20 characters, but they didn't actually demonstate this feature, so I guess 20 is better than none.:)

And I guess in reality you can have 20 above the line for the title and 20 below the line for the slot name, so 40 total?
