I know most people on this forum do not like to share any self made sounds - performances or even share a fragment on self made on montage music productions. While seems most are professional synths players and play or and make music on their synthesizers for a living so only for money. How ever me im just an amateur hobby synth player so it is always a challenge to create edit and combine on the Yamaha Montage my own self made sounds and multi parts / multi scenes performances set ups. to can create and recording my simple multi track music production projects. Just for the fun and without any music notes knowledge. So im exploring my montage allmost every day and the great advantage on the montage is that it is very easy & simple to can create music in lets say in 1 or 2 hours time. even for an amateur / hobby player. and it would be nice if those many pro synths players could give any positive or and negative comments..!!. so might be i could learn some or get advice from the other montage players !!.. Very nice, so did you record this on Cubase?, did you quantitize your midi tracks? Did you use the onboard recorder at all? Sounds very nice, the montage is such a blast to play with. This is my first track on Sonar..... Title every day I try something new if I can find the time, new sounds/performances, new workflows, just getting comfortable with superknob, scene, assignments, and haven't even scratched the surface of FM X or motion control. Keepem coming, sounds great!

Hi mitchell, thx for listening. i just set up some multi parts performance and scenes for the basic drum parts and bass line plus pads . that i did recorded on the perfomance audio wave recorder... i copy the wave basic wave file in to my old mulit track recording cool edit pro 2.0 pc sequencer mixer software that offers also many recording tracks mix and EQ settings options. use the montage as audio interface with a usb cabel to pc and and recorded the solo instruments like the CP piano guitars brass and vocalizer sounds as extra tracks on Cool Edit 2.0 to complete the song project..no quantitize was need. also not use cubase . [ try something new if I can find the time, new sounds/performances ] Well Mitchell it does not have to take mush time to create or edit some multi parts performances. with help of the so many arpeggio's options sounds & drum kit parts you can do very easy some changes and edits or and program new multi parts performances and scenes in a wat ever kind of music styles before do any recordings . for example i edit reprogram some div performances recordings music styles . a demo compilation mix. >> http://jmp.sh/v/M982SR1ezEpOeBK92ckq <<

Man the demos sound great! I really like what you are doing the board directly, yeah playing live is so much fun. Your edits to the performances, and the way you playing them sound very nice. I think I heard some Motion sequencing going on.... very tasty....

Well i own the Yamaha Montage about 18 months by now . and spend lots of time exploring & discovering this synthesizer monster i also spend lots of time o design - create - program in div styles including single parts & multi parts performances user banks several new sound sets. that i also store / save as -X7L- or and -X7A- back up sound sets files ok it eats some time to create a total new 127 full user banks including new wave form sfx and vocals loops and choirs but also percussion instrument sounds all playable on the keys in div catagory's not really to can sell but just to can create and recording music on. like one of my favorite full multiple [ Native American ] sound set library creation. >> http://jmp.sh/v/jHPk9kbf44HunvmWQEN0 <<
