what is the best hard drive to buy for my newly purchased FX8 so when I play live I can unload my sequences and audio files as a song to the rented keyboard(FX8) perfectly every time?

We are sure you mean XF8... Since there is no such thing as an FX8.
And it's not at all clear if you mean the Motif XF8, (or the MOXF8).

There is no "best" hard drive... In general, avoid those devices that come with pre-installed Copy Protection software. (Copy Protection = Music Prevention).

Depending on your specific requirements you can look at hard drives or USB flash drives to back up your data. If you add FLASH boards to your synth, you can transport your audio data (pre-installed) on your boards. You simply plug the FL boards into the backline unit and load your data file from your USB flash drive.

If you are worried about find a compatible drive call Customer Support in your area, they will have a handle on what people are successfully using in your region of the world.
