Well, I thought I knew how to do this several cubase updates ago…
We usually structure songs as complete Motif xf songs before transferring them into cubase.
But sometimes ideas don’t follow each other so then there are several song parts that are complete, that now need to be placed into cubase following or proceeding one that’s already recorded there.
My question is, where is that feature( whose name I cannot recall ) that synchronizes each additional recording to start seamlessly one after the next though recorded at different times/days? In the very beginning, I never could match the end of one precisely to the beginning of the other and it could always be heard on the playback.
*If more explanation is required please say…
Thanks 🙂
More explanation, please... are we talking about a Motif XF feature or a Cubase9 feature?
Sorry, no not the XF and yes Cubase 9.
I think it used to be SNAP TO GRID but it seems to not work as before?
I have three pieces in SONG 1 2 AND 3 on XF.
….trying to record them to cubase at different times and without any audible evidence of the process.
Hey my Brother, here is something I’m not certain how old content is, or which Cubase version…
but I think if you place song one into cubase, then place song two on another track, you should then be able to drag two into one as an EVENT that follows the first. You should assign 'Event' to be set up prior to additional songs/pieces' recording.
STEINBERG HELP
I too don’t care for their forum. I don’t know why….. I can’t nail it. 🙂
Hey did you see Genos on Sweetwater? I’m wondering if these folks will make a place for this State of The Art Arranger Workstation? !
