As user of both (Montage 7 and Motif XF7) I'm wondering if there's a way to imitate the SuperKnob behaviour on the Motif XF. In other words, is it possible to fade in a Voice while another one fades out? Ins this possible with a simple FC-7=? And what about the Voices? Do the fading out one must have an inverted data reception?

Yes, MIDI allows you to use standard ccontrols to fade one Part out while fading another Part in... but, by no means, is that all the Super Knob does.
On the XF, you would use the Foot Controller, for example, to control one sound normally: heel down = minimum output; toe down = maximum output.
While the second Part responds the opposite.

The thing is to use cc04 Foot Control to do Part Volume.
